Frameless.

Freedom.Openness.Authenticity.

Our Purpose

Since 2021, Frameless has provided a supportive space for teens to tell their personal stories through the art of photography.

The Frameless project encourages teens to document pressing issues in Philly neighborhoods. Our powerful photographs have caught the attention of Philadelphia City Council, who have used them during hearings as examples of the challenges faced in various communities.

At our core, we believe that photography is a transformative tool for healing, self-expression, and social impact.

Our workshops take place in local museums, schools (we reach out to their art teachers) parks, and community centers, ensuring accessibility for anyone who wants to come. We Collaborate, with experienced photographers who generously volunteer their time to teach storytelling through images.

Dedicated to capturing the unfiltered and untold narratives of the youth breaking free from the confines of traditional frames. Devoted to nurturing the mental well-being within the Greater Philadelphia community.

What we Do What we Do

Behind this project lies a dedicated team of volunteers and photographers alike, passionate about photography, mental health, and community development.

Together, we aspire to create lasting change through art, empathy, and united efforts.

— Capturing the Unfiltered.

Frameless believes in freedom, openness, and authenticity. We are committed to capturing the unfiltered and untold narratives of youth.

— Addressing Pressing Issues.

We encourage our photographers to also document the pressing issues that affect Philadelphia neighborhoods. Our powerful photographs have also caught the attention of the Philadelphia City Council. These images have been used during hearings as examples of the challenges faced in various communities.

— Exhibiting the Youth Perspective.

We take pride in coordinating pop-up exhibitions of our photography with local museums and art galleries to provide a platform for our work to reach an even wider audience.
